About Ekip Film

Ekip Film is a film production company which produces mostly documantery films for both inland and internartional area. Since January 2004, it is being configurated for producing TV films, TV programs and international dramas.

Filmography of Ekip Film:

• “Atatürk” (1998) English-language, 81-minute documentary film. Finalist in the San Diego International Film and Video Festival; Third place at the Chicago International Film and Video Festival. Since now the film has been sold to channels: Australia SBS, SCN Canada, AB Sat Europe, UAE Middle East, HISTORIA CA, Planeta-BECA Spain. In Turkey the film has been broadcasted by TRT and Kanal D.
  
  
• “Fenerbahçe” (1999) A documentary film on the history between 1907-1923 years of a Turkish sports team, Fenerbahçe. In 12nd and 29th January the film was broadcasted in Show TV and will soon be marketted as DVD.
  
  
• “Mount Nemrud: The Throne of the Gods” (2000) English-language, 52-minute documentary about the history of Mount Nemrud and the Kingdom of Kommagene. The film has won the first place in the history/biography category of the US International Film and Video Festival (2001); RAI Television Award in Torento Film Festival (2002). The film has been sold to History Channel in Portugal and Spain, Italian RAI and German ZDF.
  
  
• “Heart of Steel: Eregli” (2001) 45-minute documentary film aims to introduce the historical and culturel fortunes of Karadeniz Eregli
  
  
• “The Hittites” 35 mm documentary film about the Hittites, the first of ruler of Anatolia. The Hittites is the first documentary film to be released theatrically and has been seen by 78.000 people. Special screenings has been organised in ABD Los Angeles, Washington D.C. Smithsonian Institute, England British Museum, Australia Canberra, Japan Tokyo. The film has also been participated in international film festivals in Egypt-Ismailiye, Holland-Amsterdam, Italy-Rovereto.
